Resident Evil: Biohazard is looking good, everyone expects Resident evil 4 to look similar but what of the rest?

RE2, RE3 and RECVx won't be updated???? Well no not strictly true items are moving, a few more puzzles, more enemies so a little different and Code veronica doesnt really matter anyway considering it is a next gen title. But there is still am graphical update just not like RE1.

One of the major worries was with Resident Evil 0, would the old N64 graphical style stay the same like RE2 and RE3? Well Gamesradar has exclusivly revealed that the graphics are like the first re-make. They are a bit grainy as they were scanned from a booklet but still have a gander:

Resident Evil has dismal gameplay!

I got an N64 for my Birthday years ago, so I never played it then. But I also have a DC and PS2 so I have played my fair share or Code Veronica. The cut scenes and atmosphere may be good, but the gameplay is slow, and unresponsive.

Oh no, there's a zombie. Bang.......bang........bang.......bang.....Oh no, the zombie is biting my neck.....I'll throw him off.....bang.....bang......bang...(repeat till dead)

It's a dismal game.

Resident Evil is the most complex, well layed out storyline ANY game has offered, 6 novels have been written regarding the series, a film and countless fan ficts. Gameplay wise it's one of the best gaming experiences availible as people will clearly tell you once the remake is released here.

Alone in the Dark hmmm yes it did base the original idea on that game but you can hardly say realistic character models and weird freaky looking people look the same and Alone in the dark 4 is somewhat based on Resident Evil so who cares?

Never heard of it! isn't it that stuff terrorists put it in letters ;-)

you've lost me now, either that or I'm bored so I'll just say Resident Evil is one of the classics and anyone who says otherwise probably got an N64 for Christmas.

Resident Evil indeed, why do bad games get recognition while good ones suffer in silence. Open your eyes, Resident Evil is repetitive with a bad story and very little in the way of gameplay (in any form). Alone in the Dark was good at it's time but it's almost the same as Resident Evil (or rather the other way around). Go forth and buy Anachronox! (okay, so it's not exactly original but the story and such is and the whole game plays brilliantly). Next you'll be talking about Crazy Taxi, which isn't too bad actually. Just remember that Quarantine was first (though very different, perhaps different enough to make Crazy Taxi seem more original). Anyway stop letting these people get away with it, they did it with Tomb Raider they did it with Resident Evil and just because they eventually get their act together doesn't mean they should be given free forgiveness.

I knew Capcom wouldn't release direct PS ports after the remake, I mean it just wouldn't work. newcomers would loose interest and be dissapointed, The intro to resident evil 2 shows captions from the original PS version so they'd get confused and well it just makes sense to touch them up for a 128 bit machine, nuff said :-)

Resident Evil 1 is 70% bigger on the Gamecube with Rebecca as a completley playable character with different things and advantages she has, also new bosses, wepons, sections (e.g. Forest) it is completley new RE2 and RE3 and RECVx don't expect anything that new on it.

I never knew there was a prequal to resi evil on the N64, but I'm now planning to get a GC later this year so I can find out just what its like. I think its a good idea updating the resi series on GC, and I'll certainly be trying out the new versions when they arrive.

One problem though, will the developers add anything new besides graphics? Its someting we'll have to wait for I guess.
