RE2, RE3 and RECVx won't be updated???? Well no not strictly true items are moving, a few more puzzles, more enemies so a little different and Code veronica doesnt really matter anyway considering it is a next gen title. But there is still am graphical update just not like RE1.
One of the major worries was with Resident Evil 0, would the old N64 graphical style stay the same like RE2 and RE3? Well Gamesradar has exclusivly revealed that the graphics are like the first re-make. They are a bit grainy as they were scanned from a booklet but still have a gander:

Night all!
Dringo.
Anyway, Resident Evil is certainly not for everyone. By saying it's slow and clumsy, I mean the controls. And that is true. You have to stop to turn and shooting zombies is very slow.
I can understand why people like it, as it does have some good puzzles, but for me the puzzles aren't enough to keep me playing since I really do not like the feel of the game.
There is a lot of wandering around and since I find the controls so annoying, I don't like playing it.
I did give it a chance, but I still didn't like it.
And by the way, saying I think I know what I'm talking about, I am only going by Code Veronica but since that is widely regarded as the best in the series (and you said so yourself), I think I do have a good idea what I'm talking about.
You like the game? Fine. I hate it. Don't tell me I must like it.

Don't treat me like i'm stupid i only go for Gameplay and resident evil is filled with it, i know a good game and code veronica is probably the best in the series and my favourite Dreamcast title.

Strongly disagree, apart from going in and out the inventory Resident Evil has some great tactical, logical and combat elements to the gameplay and plays incredibly well. In this genre the goal is to create an atmosphere then involve the player well into it which Resident Evil does brilliantly, so shut up :-D
I borrowed the game for a long time on Dreamcast and played it briefly on PS2, so unless the GC versions are going to be completely changed, then I know what I'm talking about.

So you've played the game then???? resident Evil is more puzzled based than bloody zombie based and each indivdual deserves their own attention, hunters need to be avoided as they can decapitate you, Zombies are simle enemies, bandasnatchers you need to dodge the arm, lickers are different also, and you have faster zombies, then there are the bosses.
Also certain weapons effect different B.O.W's differently. You opbvioulsy havent played it if you think it is simple point and click. Remember RE is storyline propelled always has been always will be and this terrifying storylines is what keeps you moving and the added depth, gorrific monsters add to it, it is an adventure game with blood.
