ok, how do I play a 1v1 game of UT? there doesn't appear to be any I.P. linkage, do I need to make my own LAN? or my own server?

:D thanks, I obviously hadn't fiddled around as much as I thought...

Just click on the 'mutators' tab when starting the game and select Low Gravity.

Server works well, jst need someone to play with :) also how do I play without Gravity? i've been messing around with the different settings but nothings happening.

you've actually tempted me to say "it doesn't work" just so you can hurry off and find another way :d but I havn't tried it, but i'll let you know, i'm very grateful for your help, and why do you find the name Moose man funny? ;)

Ok, are you on broadband and have a fixed IP? If so, then you'll need to tell one another your IP, if not then use a messenger to give out your IP just before creating the game, this can be found by start--> run--> winipcfg. Youll need to start a game up (NOT a dedicated server), and the other person will need to open up the netgames section of UT, right click on the place where all the servers are listed, choose open location, and type the IP in there, it should then connect to you, provided the game is running. That should work, post back to say if it does or dosn't.

I'm not really sure what your trying to do, is this a LAN game, a bot game or an internet game or what?
