Region X is only a disc that you swapwith the dvd movie, unfortunately is makes my PS2 look no more cool. But i must say the disc looks sexy in its cd case ;)

Its not about buying foreign movies as much as buying Region 1 movies. We in the country are Region 2. We do not get Dvd movies until 1-3 months after the US, if we are lucky we will get a tandem release date. Plus we pay way over the odds, maybe not way over the odds but we are talking couple of quid. And region 1 are freely available to buy from mail order. I use one online retailer who do Region 1 and 2 dvds PS2 games and Music, its well cheap and quick free delivery. I believe I can't post links, so I won't.

Why would you need something to play foriegn DVD's? Where do you get these DVD's from any way? Maybe it's the fact that having an extra bit of hardware for your PS2 looks cool? Please Reply :D

you can get full colour if you use a scart cable or the av cable, i'm not sure about the rgb cable though.

No, you need a RGB cable in order for it to work in full colour.

I'm sure you could pick up a cheap RGB PS1 cable (which will work on the PS2) I picked one up for £2.50 from a car boot sale.
