Exactly what I do too, current fav posters Tom Adrian and Savaat also Glide is a decent guy

Yep I visit this forum alot more than PS2. The PS2 forum seems to be populated by text talk speakers who have no sense of grammar. Still find some decent posts in the PS2 forum from decent posters, but alot of it is pretty rubbish spam.
Yeah I only seem to post in here nowadays. Occasionally I'll post in the FOG chat forum but other than that I stay in here cause I like reading and replying to the posts in here.
The PS2 forum has just gone downhill big time and the other forums aren't that far behind. This one is still great to post in though cause besides the occasional dippy sod coming in here to whine about the X-Box, posts are always a good read in here. :-)
When will they learn?
In reply to the original topic:
M$ don't need to win the console wars. At three consoles could live nicely alongside each other now that the amount of gamers worldwide has increased by a lot. But, if there is one reason for Microsoft to do well, it would be the money in Billys pocket.
I have heard a quote somewhere that Microsoft will support the Xbox like a buisness for the next 6-7 years. That seems unlikely, but I am sure they will support it for at least 3 years.
Cheers.

Its probaly just like when ur pc shuts down and starts up it makes that beep ever so slightly
Its probably doing a quick save to save everything that might be lost dont worry about it mate
As for the topic, I think Microsoft are on the right track as far as the games go. They are getting very popular PC titles along with the best titles that the PS2 has. People who whine about the size of the controllers will able to buy the smaller ones soon when they come out and by the looks of it, a price drop could well be on the way.
I haven't really heard anything in the lines of a good arguement against the X-Box. All of it tends to be bitter whining rather than real valid points. I mean we've all heard them (putting on whiney voice) "its too big to fit in my house !" "the controller is crap cause I played on a pod for 2 minutes," "Its £300 ! What a con !" (for added punch to this arguement it helps to act totally oblivious to the hidden costs that come with the other consoles along with the PS2's launch price and other consoles before it).
"Its got no games ! The PS2 has got loads !" (again, acting totally oblivious to the fact that PS2 has been out a lot longer helps).
It used to be annoying, but now its just funny in its own way cause it really shows just how bitter and clueless a number of people are.
Beanz, seeing as I can get you here. Can you go and check the question I posted in WLT about beeping. I have asked someone on another forum, and they said theirs doesn't. I need to know if something is wrong.
Cheers.
