I have no quarrals with PS2 owners, its a decent console that has some quality games on it.
But come May the 3rd I will be proud to be an owner of a Nintendo GameCube, and if any one wants to dispute that I'm ready for you.
(I know theres also that X-box but most of you probably know my stance on that).

Well I don't mind the PS2, if I was rich I would buy that as well, now the X-box...good doormat I hear...

There are. Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness spring to mind...But the PS2/X-box will always have more.

Thing is though. GTA3 is one of the best selling games on the PS2. Nuff mans under 18 bought this game.
Then there is State of Emergency. Nuff mans under 18 bought this just becasue it wss a violent game. Although the game was actually crap.
The 18 certificate sometimes makes people under 18 more determined to buy that game...
Developers have their own styles at making games, and rreviewers take them in more ways than one.
Basicly, different people like different things. The err. . ."kiddy" atmosphere for Nintendo games ISN't because Nintendo want to centre their games around little kids, it's because they want to sell more copies by making games suitable for everyone, so little kids can buy their games, whereas most PS2 and PSX games are rated 15 and 18, which means they're losing out on a lot of income, because less customers .i.e. the ones younger than the certificate, can can buy the games. Nintendo is far better off.
It also makes the games enjoyable, rather than scary, meaning that you'll keep going back to it, rather than playing a game once and being to scared to go back to it.
That's my opinion. Other people can think differently if they want.
