I'm familiar with editing in Wordpress but have never set one up on Freeola before. The club is happy to upgrade to the MySql option.
There is already an existing ftp-uploaded site in the htdocs folder in the root of the domain ftp area. This needs to stay active for now.
My question is whether activating Wordpress with the one click setting will immediately wipe out the existing old basic html site. Can I set up a parallel test site and easily switch it for the current site later?
Hopefully you will be able to test/build things in a sub-domain while leaving the current site live.
But I can see why you need this confirmed before activating WP.
Perhaps raise a support ticket if a staffie doesn't come along.
Let us know how you get on.
Hmmm...
