I've just renewed a batch of domains which reminded me to ask this query...
For co.uk domains I use the free WHOIS opt-out for some of my non-business clients and for the business ones I obviously don't/can't.
When renewing could the options include a 'leave as things are' or perhaps show the current WHOIS status?
I often have to do a WHOIS to see how the domain was registered.
I take it if I use the 'Privacy not required' option it would change the status of what I've previously set up?

Sounds reasonable Hmmm... I believe others have asked for similar changes so I'll put it on the list. Can't give a timescale though I'm afraid.
