Does /anyone/ on SR actually play CS?

We'll have 100 gig when we get this new one

I always said "20 gig? I could never fill that in a million years"

Of course I did, that's why we need a new one. So I don't expect this new one to last very long either, as the first thing I'm doing is installing ALL my games on it

*points at 25mb hdd*

I'm sure it's usually about who's got the best box, not the worst...Odd, I used to manage fine with 25mb, now I've almost filled 120gb..

Blame the internet..

Yes I think that's small, considering we've run through it all and everytime I want to install something I have to spend half an hour sorting through stuff to delete

And yours is what we call a "micro hard drive" ;)

For once, I'd like to be able to start a CS thread without someone throwing in something about TO..

I'll try and get adni to tell me earlier next time - there are lots of random accusations of cheating, but not on private servers, and I do take it as a compliment, as should most people. Headshots in CS are fairly random, so get a few lucky ones and people will start accusing you of having an aimbot.

Fairly easy to spot a real cheater, check in spectator mode, watching people as they trace the path of an enemy on the other side of a wall and then shoot them as soon as they pop round a corner, or spin and get headshots consistantly at any range..

Due to a pathetically small hard drive (only 20 gig) I recently had to delete Half Life and CS, but I'll be reinstalling 'em when I get my new 80 gig sometime this week

Then I'll probably play a little

Thats normally because half the community do cheat :p

Bah at your no warning policy :) Me and Shaneo were messing around in a Barrysworld bookable server yesterday and I was showing him all the admin commands and things like that. We were summoning redeemers and chainsaws, flying and getting loads of money. Decent hour of fun :) ON Tactical Ops by the way :p

I gave up CS ages ago after being hooked to it. To be honest, I don't like some of the people that play the game.

Muaha, excellent match. Yes, you can still buy Half-Life, then download CS - you could wait for the final version of 1.4 to be released then see if they update the generations pack, but I'd recommend just picking up HL cheap somewhere on its own then downloading CS from www.counter-strike.net.

It's about 100mb for the full mod version, but well worth it.
