There is bad dialogue in all games and it comes in different forms. Here are some examples of bad and cheesy bits.
In Time Crisis on the first boss you have a to defeat a group of claw men. When you have defeated the main one you pick him up and he says, 'The girl is at the top of the tower. She must be dead by now.' Then you punch him and he falls to the ground. That is so cheesy.
In the opening scene to Devil May Cry, a lady comes in on a bike. That's alright, but Dante says, 'Whoo, whoo. Slow down babe,' and then he says 'If nature calls it's in the back, okay.' The lady throws her bike at him and then Dante gets his guns and says, 'Let's rock!' This is awful. Surely the developers can come up with better dialogue than this.
Another dialogue problem occurs in ISS International Soccer on the commentary. If you tackle someone outside the penalty area and the referee doesn't blow his whistle, but the commetator thinks it's a foul, he normaly says, 'That's surely a penalty.' Are you blind? Do you understand the rules of football? I dont think so!
In Yoshi's Story when you complete a level the Yoshi crew come on and sing a little baby song which is so irritating.
