They love PS2 because it's more powerful than any other and they neglect the older ones and laugh at it as they find it full of dust in there attics (if they have them)
They like all sorts of games, and love Final Fantasy because of the soupy plot. That's what they like. They love colour, boring plots and playing in their boring arcades. What brought me to this is the Japanese Famitsu Mag gave Perfect Dark a average score, they said it gave them motion sickness! Motion sickness! I would get that dancing away to those chessy tunes.
Personally, I am sitting on the roof of my house taking in the breeze and whistling at the girls from the local comprehensive school as they walk home.
Reminds me to get a new lens for my telescope....
PB will know.
And they are luclky enough to produce those Zelda inventors and Final Fantasy genuises.
Motion sickness is silly, why can we put up with it and they can't? We're all human anyway!
For example, in addition to getting motion sick, Japanese gamers like easy games- with many games' Japanese versions only being playable in "easy mode" whereas we in the West like more challanging games. This sounds stupid, but games in Japan are for quick enjoyment, whereas here we like long lasting replayable games.
Coming back to the point about motion sickness, the only game that may combat this problem is Outrigger on the Dreamcast, which is being designed to allow Japanese people to play freely without discomfort. Aren't Sega great!
