The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I shall inform the disinterested posters here of exactly what I got when I return at 2:30pm.
New toys rock, and new rock toys rock.
Rock rocks.
Now let's go to that place where the...beer...and beds...are
20" Pro-Sonix Sabian Ride
14" Sabian AAX Studio Crash
18" Hand-Finished Stagg ROCK Crash
--
Explanation for Grix:
Ride is the big cymbal you keep time on, usually to the left of the rack-toms (mounted drums on kick-drum).
It's the one that gives the "ting ting ting" sound.
Crashes are the ones you hit for the big sound.
Different cymbals gives different sounds.
Crash give a "crash" sound.
Splash gives a "splash" sound, shorter and lighter than crash, and so on and so forth.
Soulfly's drummer has two splash cymbals. I have seen them myself. They look they other cymbals, but are smaller, subsequently giving off a higher sound. I think they look funny.
Damned dirty A12 diversions.
I now have:
Mapex Double-lock boom stand x 2
20" Pro-Sonix Sabian Ride
14" Sabian AAX Studio Crash
18" Hand-Finished Stagg ROCK Crash
And no splash cymbal - because I play the rock.
I could start it now, but I'm excited about you coming
Hee hee hee....
