-----------------------------------------------------------"Can't find any cheats in Halo"
Many people assume that Halo contains a plethora of
hidden cheats to make the game easier - infinite
health and ammo, the ability to carry every weapon
at once, that sort of thing. This is a classic example
of what happens when you ASSUME - you make an A** of U,
not ME. There are no cheats in Halo. Plenty of little
easter eggs for your entertainment, but no options that
will make the game easier. If you find things to be too
difficult, keep practicing, or drop the game's difficulty
settings down a notch.

i you should try looking for a walkthtough for it. i've been trying for about 40 minutes and no luck yet :S
p.s- the only interesting cheat i found for Halo was "2 new weapons". what's the catch you wonder? "beat the game on LEGENDARY in under 3 HOURS" :O
Use the assault rifle, firing in short bursts to take out the annoying small crowds of infection Flood. Don't be too worried about the odd couple of them, just let them burn up on your shield or use the butt of your assault rifle with a melee attack.
If you have a large crowd coming at you from one side of the room or down a corridor, try using frag grenades to take the majority of them out.
Plasma grenades are good too, but watch out when it comes to them sticking to enemies - you could well regret it if the Flood close you down quickly and take you with them.
Once you have access to the shotgun, do your best to keep it and keep ammo for it. Not only is it one of the best weapons for dealing with the Flood, but it also makes short work of most Covenant troops too - especially at close range.
Covenant are very clever and will use tactics against you, whereas the Flood are generally thick as a log of crap and will run blindly at you. Of course their large numbers make this a horrible style of attack to deal with.
Concentrate on taking out the larger Flood first, especially the ones that are armed with weapons. Taking out carriers (those fat sack things that explode) while they are in the middle of a crowd can also work nicely for you.
After you've taken care of the larger threat, simply switch to your assault rifle and mop up the remains of the smaller Flood.
Never use the rocket launcher in a situation where your surrounded and don't even think of using the sniper rifle against the Flood as its very weak against them and you'll just waste bullets.
:-)
by the way if you've got the diffucilty setting above easy then you're gonna find it to be a pain in the a##. i have it on easy and when you don't give the Flood (new enemy) enough medication they get up again. you may find that funny...but not when you're surrounded ;)
