Oh my god.
Just when things can't get any worse..My PS2 deicdes its going to break down.
It won't read any(except Tekken Tag) Blue game CDs.
Now I have to get the sodding thing tested and possibly fixed...a whole week without my PS2.
What the hell am I going to do?!

Yeah my PS2 packed up in the same way before. Had a week without a console......Well, of my own anyway. Basically ended up at a friends house all week. ;-))

Sorry but no, if that ribbon (there both off one) has any problems it would just make a slot or port not work, not effect the dvd drive.

Sorry, i know how bad this is i already had it b4, is your ps2 a 30003/30004 model by any chance?

if worst comes to worst, sell the faulty ps2 on yahoo auctions for £100 faulty, sellign the games and that seperate then get a gamecube!

I know someone who fixes them anyways( a proper place not some hack who does it in the boot of his car) and its gonna cost me around £60

If it doesn't then write to the head of Sony at swear at him, then sue him for his shoddy merchandise.

If u havn't had it repaired yet i can tell you that the problem's you've had is because the laser is going.

cost a fair bit to get fixed if sony wont do it for you, that's if you find anyone brave enough to do it.
