The Gamecube's release in Europe is the final next generation release before the war truly begins, the X-box seems unsteady, the PS2 is going strong with a massive head start and the Gamecube will do perfectly fine! The run up to the Gamecube launch has been an exciting one, just under a year after the Dolphin turned into the Gamecube the excitment kick started, E3 is where the titles were finally announced and then it got intresting. Adult titles were pouring in and then Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo fans were shocked by Capcom after revealing the Resident Evil series is moving to the Gamecube. This happened just after the Zelda shock which (depending on how you feel about the new look) is either a positive or negative outcome. But things are looking good, Sonic is now with Nintendo, Namco are releasing their major titles on the machine. Eidos and the Goldeneye team are back with Nintendo with Timesplitters 2. Then Squaresoft shocked us all again after ditching their long time rivalry with Nintendo and releasing Final Fantasy and other major titles on the Gamecube and Gameboy Advance...
The Gamecube is the N64 but a thousand times better and I found the N64 a damn good games machine. Roll on May 3rd!
That topic REALLY wasnt needed...
