I've just been lokking down the topic list and all it is moaning that you have given up on GAD. Do we really want to know. some people haven't. Tell me why do you hate it its a great idea.

I hate it when people start new topics with a quick message like, "I've just won GAD! Everyone bow down before me!" That really burns me up, it does. Most of the time, I like to just chat.
Oh sure, there have been times when I've tried, without any success, but if that's the way it goes, then that's the way it goes. Don't take it out on the forums.

Imagine if SR suddenly put a stop to the GAD competition...
I bet we'd only see all the Notables, about 15 Regulars, and maybe one or two Just Arrived's who are yet to realise that the competition is finnished! And all the n00b's would've gone instantly!

I'd actually already won twice before I even started chatting on the forums
Took me a while to get used to them, especially the fact that the posts are in reverse order (yes I know you can swap them)

If people want to give up then that's their choice. I've won once and my winning topic, like all my others, wasn't pre scripted in Word or whatever, I just knew that I wanted to do a topic about the old days of gaming and typed what came to mind.
It's best to forget about trying to win and just enjoy chatting on the forums - you're more luikely to win that way anyway !

Well I've certainly got no complaints with UKchatforums and UKreviews.com
That's 2 chances of winning games every day for your own work! Plus with the chatforums, you can have some fun, mess around (as long as it's not spam or insulting) and still have the chance of winning!

Most people come here for one reason- win games for nothing!
Unfortunately, most people don't win straight away, swear a lot, and then give up!
The rest stay here because they actually love talking about games and the like- that's why I'm here! Of course, winning is nice, but most people don't "try" to win by posting loads of convoluted topic... hence they've, in some sense, "given up" winning.
Not that we mind the games... ;)
