I dont know if you've heard, but 20th Century Fox (the company that brings us the delights of the Simpsons) has decided to stop the production of its other popular cartoon series - FUTURAMA.

If this happens, after the current episodes are finished and broadcast, there will be no more made.

However, we might be able to prevent this happening. Just take 2 minutes to sign the online petition at:

http://www.petitiononline.com/futufu/

There's already over 100,000 signatures, so please add yours. Even if you are not a fan of the series, please just sign the petition, it takes literally 2 minutes.

We can't let one of the best programmes on TV disapear.

I know this isn't really to do with 'the future of gaming' but i'd like as many people as possible to sign the petition.

DONT LET FUTURAMA DIE

ps: If you sign the petition, please just post a note here so I can see how many people do.

Thanks

Because people like to see pretty people - hunky lads and gorgeous girls hopefully getting it on for the cameras. Peoples desire for softcore porn on TV, basically.

If they had 'real' couples - i.e. the tramp from down the road and her pot-bellied, beer-swilling pig of a Significant Other, I wonder how popular it would be?

If you watch the simpsons or futurama, they're constantly taking the mick out of Fox, its like the TV company are trying to show who is boss. But like you said, they do have a habit of failing to realise what people like.

there is some hope of it returning, but most of the people who worked on the show have gone on to other jobs. As they have been told that Fox dont want anymore episodes. So if it does come back, it'll be with a whole new production team.

PLEASE sign the petition

What is it about US TV stations and cancelling popular shows?

First they did it with Family Guy, and now Futurama.

Yet old tat like Star Trek gets series after series!

But I doubt it'll make any difference.

In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
