The rules say it usually has to be informative or funny
ive just recently won my first GAD on ukchat forums and the best way is to just look to include examples, personal opinion and make the topic into a discussion rather than a fact, avoid spam at all costs and try to make it lengthy, u may have to try a few times for a win but once you got the hang of it, you should get that break you need.

Well i found out myself from other users of this forum like the SR staff and members and from the actual site itself.
Some things tell you what they want in a post to win and if you just have a look around the site you will find most of your answers you need.
