Im sure there are a lot of well read people in here, so I'd like to know that if you are reading a book at the moment what is it?
Im reading 'The Professor' by Miles Palmer. It's an autobiography of Arsene Wenger.
But i have read more interesting books honest.
anyway,

It's a book about Australia, not....anything else.

I read a few Bill Bryson bits and pieces last year in English as part of my 'travel unit'.
Anyway, I'm (still) reading Lord of the Rings. Still on the first book. I'm not a slow reader, it's just when I think about reading a bit, I think 'I could watch a film instead'. The film usually wins. Still, I did read a bit of it the other day.

Never read any Bryson myself, but a friend of mine read 'Notes from a small island' (I think thats what its called) he said he found it quite anti English.
Don't know whether to belive him or not. A lot of people read his books and say he is very good.
Has anyone read Bruce Campbell's autobiography? I hear it's really good and very amusing

Anyway, I'm reading the Empire Strikes Back by Donald Glut. I got it years ago and I've only read it once so far (something rare for me, I normally read books a thousand times) so I finally decided to re-read it

Like all of Kings work, it starts off good, but descends into the realms of crapness toward the end.
I just finished The Oddyssy by Homer. Makes O Brother Where Art Thou thrice as good if you've read it.
