How smooth is this game!
Wow... played it today... my manager managed to get a copy through his contacts.. all I can say it that it runs so well and feels beautiful, a real treasure to play, we only had the first fully finished level/stage on disk however it was clear that if they didn't drop the depth in the later levels than this game will be an easy Halo beater (I wasn't a supreme fan of Halo).
Well. Its my first reason to own an XBox. And I will be getting a copy for free... as well as TimeSplitters2.

Actually that is great news seeing as SplinterCell is my second most wanted game on Xbox at the moment. I said all those days ago in FOG chat that this is one to watch out for, but all the monkeys said it'll be crap and not a patch on MGS2. The fools.
PS2 and GC versions havn't started development- and judging by the footage I've seen of splinter cell on xbox it just won't be the same game if on PS2- look at wreakless for example.
Splinter Cell must have this Xmas- I've got £45 set aside already.

It's coming out for PS2 and Gamecube sometime next year. I'll keep an eye out for it but I was never a fan of the MGS games.

Blinx was just trying too hard to be something it can't be - which is Mario.
Just didn't grab me. Hopefully Conker will be great ;-)
As for XBox Live... it has potential... a lot of it. Lets hope the service to us is good and any broadband connection can be used.

Yeah i played Splinter Cell at Stuff live 2002, Amazing, Smooth and captures the stealthy magic of MGS. I am Definately getting this game.
Whats wrong with Blinx? I played it at SL2002 aswell and i loved it! Same with Unreal Championship - Excellent especially when i goes online. #

As for Clone Wars - apparently its on its way to X-Box as well now with an added rumour of online play. Interesting.
Mech games are excellent - plus Mech Assault isn't as much of a simulator like the Mech Warrior series. Its more of a frantic blaster with some great little touches such as destroying the enviornment. ;-)
