im just wonderin as any1 tested out the new game burnoout 2 : point of impact it looks great and very agressive , like the fast and the furious the movie . im tinkin of buyin it. but id like som1 elses point of view

If it was in a store, you were probably playing it in 50Hz mode. In 60Hz it is very nippy indeed.

Although I have to admit, even on the PS2 the original did *appear* to be faster, but I think this was caused by a sense of panic due to the graphics not being very clear!

Ahhh... did nobody tell you where the accelerator button was :( Ahhhh. Next time bring a friend who knows which buttons do what on the controller.

I played Burnout 2 on the PS2 in store for a few minutes before my shift started at work the other day and I thought it boring. It was too slow!

Not trying to start console wars or anything, just pointing out fact: The GameCube version of the original Burnout was faster. I hope Burnout 2 matches or betters Burnout 1's speed on the GameCube.

BUY B2 NOW!

I got out of work early on Friday to nip into the shops to get before they closed. It was totally worth it, loads o stuff to unlock and great graphics and sound.

Well if you liked the origanal or just want a great arcade racer, then yes.

Everything from the origanal has been improved, graphics, speed, crashes, there's new game modes to try out such as the Crash and Persuit mode as well as a ton load of cool vehicles to unlock. The tracks are far better designed than the origanal as weel, their not as dull as the origanal.
