I certainly wouldn't.
Yes, it's a shame that she died, as with any death, but why cancel things just because it's someone famous?
I dislike the royal family - I think they are a waste of time and space, not to mention taxpayers money. They are relics of a bygone age, and I think they should be stripped of all privelges and made to work for their money like the rest of us.
What particularly sickens me is the sudden outpouring of 'grief', particularly those who never even knew or spoke to her. It's a joke! One journalist in particular said the other day "It's hard to imagine life without her."
I'm sorry, but it's not hard at all. My nan meant far more to me and did far more for me than any member of the royal family, but it wasn't plastered all over the press when she died. Sure, my life was disrupted, as were the lives of my family - but I didn't expect everyone else to put their lives on hold for my grief.
There are many millions in this country who in all honesty couldn't give a toss about what happened, other than it being a shame that she died, and I think it is very wrong that they cancel or otherwise disrupt events that those people have been looking forward to - possiby for a very long time.
Sorry if that sounds very selfish, but it is how I feel.
What's the point repeating it? We've seen it once, now lets get back to the descent stuff.

How do you know it wasn't?
if it was SR have set a much better example than those cancelling things this weekend. The point was that the cancellation by itself is pointless
