The Bluetones - listen to that new single and you'll see why.
Next.
A pocket drummer.
And I reckon they ate Richie.
I can forgive them for Everything Must Go as a reaction to Richey slippin off to Goa, but as for the rest of their new stuff.. alas, it rocks no more.
Tried to rock at the end of the Millennium with Masses Against the Classes but it just ended up sounding like a bunch fat guys trying to convince people they have still got something to say.
Shame, cos in their day they were untouchable.
Obviously, the Spice Girls. I mean, we all loved* them to begin with, then they got too big for their own boots and split up, cos they're greedy.
Same goes with every pop band, apart from they're al really bad to begin with and end even worse......oh well.
*I am joking
With Roger Waters onboard they were excellent.
Then he got sulky and left and they released "The Division Bell" amongst others, which sounds like Phil Collins.
I like them live, but that's because they play the old songs.
First album was spot on, with King on New York, Fun Lovin' Criminal and Scooby Snacks.
Second album, 100% Columbian, was ok in a real kind of chilled out relaxed type way.
But then for Mimosa they lost their way big time.
Though that makes them sound like Chas and Dave.
Anyway, can I put the Stereophonics in, because their first album was good, but they've disappointed me since.
Because they used to rock and have songs called "Kill 'em all" and "Harvester of Sorrow" but now they all go round the drummer's house and eat fairy cakes.
