I've played many games for PS2 on many of my friends' PS2s. I think it's okay. But is that really what it is? Is "Just Okay" in under-statment or an over-statement? I know it has DVD capabilities and it has great graphics, but is it all that you hoped for? I think like any other consoles it wasn't exactly what I had expected, but it was still a great console. What did you think of yours?

Yeah sure - most people will point to only about 5 or 6 must have games at the mo but there is hope on the horizon with some top notch titles due this year - let's hope they live up to what we expect.

To be honest I'm slightly disappointed with the quality of games available. Don't get me wrong, I like the PS2 and especailly appreciate the built-in DVD, however, I feel there are only two really quality "must buy" games for me - Pro Evolution Soccer and Grand Theft Auto III.

I enjoy MGS2, Jak & Daxter, Red Faction and Dynasty Warriors 3, but they don't keep me returning! I'm hoping that developers have a few top titles coming out soon - am looking forward to Medal of Honour and Final Fantasy X.

It'll be interesting to see, over the next six months, what games the major consoles have to offer - I could be persuaded to look elsewhere!!

I didn't expect much from the PS2, just a next generation console that will provide as much joy if not more than my PS1 and so why I have not regreted getting it.

The PS2 is more than what I hoped for, it is truly a brillaint console with a list of quality games naming MGS 2, Pro Evo, GTA 3, Maximo the list is endless and with some excellant titles coming out in the future (FFX, Pro Evo 2, Virtua Fighter, Tekkan 4) I can't wait, god I love my PS 2 :D

The PS2 is everything I want, ok The first year of the PS2's life was drastic but as time progressed it turned out to be everything I'd hoped for in late 2000 and the best is yet to come (HDD+Internet).

The PS2 was what I had hoped for, but obviously expectations never end there do they?

Seeing what the PS2 can do, you just wonder what the PS3's going to be like and if it can reach your greater expectation.

Right now I'm satisfied with the PS2 and the range of games that have been developed. Sure there are some worthless games for it, but the majority of the games developed have been of high standard.

The PS2 looks to me like an all-round console. It has the capacity for every game development, whether for children or adults, all games seem to fit in with the console.
