... are a bunch of cocky, patronising idiots. I'm sick to death of being treated like something dropped in a toilet by the Notables. They make fun and patronise, and get away with it all.
You might have seen me arguing with Goatboy in another topic. Now, if I dared to say another remoting patronising, insulting or similar to him, he'd be the first to report me and get SR to stamp banned on my account. Yet if I were to report him for anything, it'd get shrugged off and forgotten.
Now, I know that this equality thing has cropped up time and time again, but I'm just so sick of it. SR say that everyone on here is treated equally, but the fact of the matter is that we're not. Notables are given far more respect on here by the staff, and if anyone badmouths them or insults them in any way, they get banned or some crap like that.

Silly boy - everybody on here makes fun and patronises when we want to and when we get the chance - it's life. The notables are no different to the rest of us.
The only people who are out here are the ones that cheat and that ones that go to far. Most of us are sensible enough to keep within reasonable limits. If somebody goes to a little to far then Knight Rider pops in and warns them with an e mail - Go a lot to far and then your out - whoever you are as a few long established regulars have found out.

And in response to the original post, yes, Goatboy is a cocky patronising idiot, but that's just because he's Goatboy, not because he's a Notable. Don't tar everyone with the same brush, just because you don't get along with one person.

My trusty inferiority complexometer went off the scale when I opened this thread.
The system as it stands is fine. Notables aren't banned for one word topics, but neither is anyone else. People are banned for cheating, and for insulting particular people. That's just about it.
There are dozens of long standing regulars on this site who are perfectly happy with the system, myself included. It's not because we lay down and accept the ufairness, it's because there isn't any.

Yes, notables have a little more "immunity" than regular members. But try to think about it.
As many as a couple of dozen forum regulars would have voted the majority of notables to the position they now hold. So, how many people would start screaming bloody murder should one fo them be removed from the forums against his/her will?
The extended leniency the notables recieve is there because it preserves more peace than it disturbs, therefore I have no problem with it whatsoever.
