If you check out this site, www.napsta.co.uk you'll notice a scroll bar which scroll's down the text (not the main one, inside the page)

How do i do this? I've asked a few people and they've given me answers like its java or its a marquee.

Anyone got any ideas on how to do this?

Thankyou for all your help.
I have decided not to use them at all due to the fact I'm lazy and I cant be bothered to make two websites, one for IE users and one for Netscape users.

Thanks, Twain.

They're called In-line Frames.

See http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com/tutors/inlineframes.html to learn how to use them.

Yep, that site was done using IFRAME, which can be done like:

This would put the page.html page in place for IE browsers, any other that don't support IFRAME would have the text "Np Page can be put here" displayed.

They can look good, but like it was said below, only Internet Explorer can use them, so if you do use them, make sure you put something for non-IFRAME supporting browsers there as well, such as a link to the actuall page the IFRAME is displaying.

You could use a TEXTAREA Box for this kind of effect, but it's not as usable as a proper Web Page in an IFRAME.

Think they're iFrames actually, evil IE only way of making a frame inside a page without having to create all the ones around it in the process. Can look quite nice, but like I ssaid, don't think netscape etc support them..

Frames. Burn them. Argh!

Your using Dreamweaver and Frontpage, both of which should do them for you..
