Why???? All it does is lift your ps2 about 2cms off the ground. Biggest money grabbing scheme I've ever seen.

I've got an official Sony one and it looks cool.
Also got an official Sony vertical stand too...that looks even cooler.

Common u must admit it's something that sony setup, because they knew people wud be stupid enuf to buy them, that includes the vertical stand too, most pointless accessories ever. Do they even have ne storage space with them? Who'd buy one of them???! it beyond me

by that I mean, when you have little kids playing on it and they decide to yank the controller more than it can reach. Mine sits at the bottom of my hifi and noone ever wants to sit close to it and would rather sit on the bed which is up the maximum length of the controller wire, if it was pulled anymore than that the PS 2 would follow them to the bed!

More Grip ? - what do you do with it ? mine sits on a shelf and doesn't move anywhere..

I think it looks good, it gives more grip to the PS 2 from underneath, specially on a slippery surface, but for £12 or 13 its a bit expensive for what it does.
