Stupid RAM

I have spend the whole morning on this piece of crap

I have sworn many, many, many, many times

I managed to get it working... then it said some files where lost and I needed to reinstall Windows.

SO I tryed to but it froze every time for about an hour

Then I put old RAM chip back in

Then it reinstalled

Then I had to set everything up again

So for about 5 hours work, I'm further behind than I was.

My new one's got 512mb of RAM and, fortunately, they put the RAM in for us. We did however upgrade our old PC in exactly the same way, 64 to 128, but we got Basildon SR to do it. {:)


So SR, you got any interest in taking any work experience entrees? I'm sure myself and Guyzer wouldn't mind. {:) And although we're not the best with PCs, we can always advise people what consoles to buy.
