Really? Cool, but surely that only markets their original console and none of the later ones to be released.

:-D

The japanese generic term for Xbox is 'ugly-biggerthanmyroom'.

Nay, but Sony are the clever ones.

Did you know that the word 'Playstation' has now become the generic term for 'games console'?

They haven't lost the plot, they are the only games company currently in the mainstream market making any noticable profit. Unlike Microsoft, each console Nintendo sell actually makes them money. One of the main reasons Nintendo let Rare go was because they didn't need them to continue their money making ways.

Sony are the ones with the plot lost. They keep persuading companies to release games on the PS2 that really shouldn't be allowed on the console with a 293Mhz CPU.

Its a crazy world! :-)

Yeah, manager explained about it when I got my job because I went in screaming the Gamecube and Nintendo were the best. Oh how my views have changed since then.

I asked why the Xbox and PS2 were at the front of all the GAME shops, he said that Sony and MIcrosoft pay EB (who own game) money for more shop space. That was interesting. He also said Nintendo are arrogant and childish in how the company is ran in the UK with its new office in Surrey.

This pattern follows onto games, some multiplatform games are offered in a range of release days for the three consoles. Sony and Microsoft pay the company some money and they get the same release day, it is now custom to see the Gamecube ones of these multiplatform games two weeks later for release. Its because Nintendo don't care and think they can depend on their own exclusives to sell the console, other games don't really matter.

Sometimes it varies though, some multiplatform games are released all on the same friday, and some on the Xbox before the other two. This is the reason.

If that made sense?!

22nd November on PS2 and XBox, TBA on Gamecube, but I'd say probably around 6th December given that sometimes Gamecube titles are released 2 weeks later than the other consoles.

Anyone know why this is?
