Hey peeps. Don't write much, but hey, here I am.

So, dears. I'm talking typing to you today to say about this nasty nasty thing I keep noticing in all these games that seem to be churned out all the time...

Where are the characters? Personally, when I go to play a game, I want to be seeing people on the screen that I can fall in love with.

Even Mario is more intriguing than most of the excuses for characters we have to put up with... within the last few years, we've had some fantastic characters, sure... Gordon Freeman from Half-life, didn't say a word, but still managed to become memorable by the way everyone acted towards him. First person in every sense of the word, we should see more like that.

I'm not one for shooters personally though, I'm more of an RPG cat.

And you're sure to find some decent characters in RPGs. Most of them are very emotionally strained, but hey, they're still characters.

Solid Snake is a pathetic character. Seriously, how can anyone fall in love with him? I'm sure his creator thinks he's very powerful and all, but really, I'd rather see someone a bit more realistic, please...

Whatever happened to the emotional types in games? What about the pathetic weak ones that try and try to get what they want but never seem to get anywhere?

For characters, see point and click. Guybrush Threepwood? Sam and Max, Bernard, Simon the Sorcerer? I love these guys. And the more you think about it, the more I kinda realise for me, love is based on communication. The more I hear about these people, the more you see into their lives, as quirky as they are, the more you love them.

Unfortunatly, the average games developer doesn't seem quite capable of humour, or communication on the long range... ah well.

So, suggestion? I want to see another point and click game. Well, something simular anyway. I want to fall in love with a character again.

But love aside, am I the only one that finds Fox McCloud sexy?

Mwa people.

Well, it does look better without the Thraves. And I don't even have a last name anyway.

I would reply to post properly but I don't really like game posts

It's fun being newbie... you lose all that crap people know about you.

Make it less obvious it's you, t'is fun.

My alter ego got deleted with SHEEPY 2

Well, Leon has been going on at me about writing on here, so I thought I'd give it a try. Be harsh if you like, I'll just claw your eyes out.

The sad thing is that there are actually mortals in this world bearing the name Reena.

I pray for their souls everyday.
