Even I could complete Halo!
It may have been on the easy setting and on co-op mode but I completed it!
I have to say though that it isn't a 10/10 game, some of the levels really got boring after a while but it still is a great little game...
I'm now on level 4 playing on hard mode, can't remember what seting it's called but it's the one before ledgendary...
I rule at this game, like I ruled at all other FPS!
Persuaded my mate to get broadband and I will be around his house whipping all of you at it when it arrives!
Be afraid, be very afraid!
On another note though, the last level where you drive the Warthog, it took us a few goes to get it right after we kept killing eachother. Thing is though, we uncovered a great little game to play on this level, the Warthog race! Oh how I thrashed him after I rammed his car off of the road!
Other fun games to play:
- Both grab a Warthog and try to kill eachother by ramming eachother to death...
- Run your mate over while hes trying to kill some Flood things...
- Get two extra marines in the car and drive about killing Flood, when you get bored or are nearly dead, ramp yourself off of a clif and watch everyone plunge to death...
- Continuously annoy your mate while he's trying to snipe Flood by running into the middle of a group of them when they are having quite time and randomly shoot your gun at them!
Yes, I did try all of these while playing and yes my mate did get annoyed, the last one was particuarly fun though when I had 4 sentry guns shooting at me!

When you pick your multiplayer scenario, instead of picking Slayer, Capture the Flag or Tag etc...
Keep looking along the list and you'll find options like Race and Rally.
It's on the normal levels, but the objective has changed.
You have to race for markers.
In race you complete a lap of markers - everyone goes the same way at their own pace.
At rally, there's one marker at a time.
Everyone races for it. The first to it gets the point and then it re-appears in a different place - MUCH better than Race if you ask me.
It's best to play it on Blood Gulch or Sidewinder in order to play on vehicles. And yes, each of the four players get a Warthog each (no ghosts or scorpions, but they'd just ruin it really).
The best bit is when you topple an opponent's warthhog, and then run them over. Then they start somewhere in the level WITHOUT their vehicle, and you get to pick up points while they try to find where their warthog is! :-D
Halo is amazing, Multiplayer is exceptional, Graphics are gorgeous, AI is beyond belief.
I have completed the game on Normal and Heroic, going through it on Legendary, challenging as it maybe it still is an excellent game. "The Libary" maybe boring and tedious on the first go on Halo but you'll learn to love it...My fave levels are "The Silent Cartographer" for its excellent beach fights and "343 Guilty Spark" <--- listen to that level in 5.1, so atmospheric and the flood are actually quite pant-browning when you hear them scuttling through the walls.
I have 4 player Halo matches every weekend, we Usually play a custom game called "Destruction Derby" all weapons are disabled except grenades, the main aim is to kill your opponents with any veichle by running them over. Going in a ghost over an oncoming warthog makes you do a nice stunt which is always a laugh.
I award Halo a 9.7 out of 10.

Yeah, but if Luigi's Mansion won the BAFTA for best sound imagine how good that was?
Where is it?
Sounds fun!
I'd give it 7.5, mostly let down by level design.
The multiplayer gets 10/10 though.
Philip, you think that racing Warthogs on that last level was fun, try play a rally in the multiplayer mode...
If boredom starts to set in then a game is not 10/10...
I have played this game for over 70 hours and I still want to keep going back and playing on it each night. In CO-OP mode my brother and I completed it on Legendary difficulty and got the bonus 10 second footage at the end.
In 5.1 the game is truly and bench-mark in terms of sound and the music is possibly the greatest I have ever heard in a video-game. Like I mentioned in the first paragraph, at first I didn't think it was a as good as Golden Eye or Deus EX but now I believe it's the best FPS shooter game to appear on a console and possibly the greatest FPS game ever created.
On the Xbox DVD that Gamezfreak sent me there is an interview with Peter Molynieux who is the head of Lion-Head Studios. In the interview he talks about why he believes Halo has revolutionised the FPS shooter genre and unless you have experienced 5.1 surround sound and played the game through at least twice you won't realise why. Halo was a bench-mark in terms of sound as well as graphics but only now do I actually realise the true depths behind the interface of this great game. Play it through again on Normal and Heroic and try the game in 5.1, once you have done this come back and tell me it isn't a 10/10 game and I will publically call you a fibber ;) (Only kidding :)
Complete it on Legendary and then you can call yourself a master of Halo. Play some Multiplayer too.
