Mine was f1racing for n64 on x-mas day,pants game,thought it was great then though

On a dedicated console it was "Sonic" for the Master System.

There were variants of it called 'Telly Tennis' or 'Tennis'.

One of which was the first game I ever programmed.. I copied 2000 lines of source code straight from the spectrum user manual.

And the damn thing didn't work.

i thought pong was mint cuz it woz like the first ever console but wasnt it called tennis or is my memory all screwy

Mine was Pong on a console that only played...Pong.

So I suppose it wasn't really a console. My first true 'games console' (ignoring the Sinclair computers and hand helds) would have been a Sega Megadrive. Hard to say what my first game was, probably Sonic The Hedgehog though.

What about the first game you played on a dedicated games console though? Presumably that would have been a NES or Master System.

First game I ever played was "Batman" on the Spectrum.
That was around 12-13 years ago or summit.

The first game I ever played was Snowball in Hell for the Spectrum. Best game I've ever played to this very day, anyone who argues is wrong.

Sega master system controls were perfectly cuboid with 2 buttons and a cheap and nasty d-pad. And that was the official one. Ohwell technology wasn't that great then I guess :D

First game I ever played was Rainbow Islands, I think.
