Bought a Nintendo 64 today for only £30! I traded in Sonic Adventure 2 for my GameCube as well as a control pad and £4 for the console, a pad and Super Mario 64. I also bought International Superstar Soccer for £2.99 – aren’t I good?

My impressions of the N64 games –

Mario 64 – Probably the best platform game EVR or joint with its successor, Super Mario Sunshine. Graphics aren’t ‘all that’, but hey, it was 1997 and Gameplay is all anybody should care about

ISS 64 – A fantastic football game, one of the best I have played on. Controls are a little fiddly and Graphics are fuzzy and take a while to get used to, but overall a brilliant game.

I plan to scour for the Games below (for cheap prices of course):

Super Mario Kart 64
Mario Party 1 – 3
Donkey Kong 64

There are a few others I would get if the price is right, like most of the RARE games, but them aside, it is only £3 – games that I am after. Any that You can suggest?

You need Goldeneye, the grandfather of first person shoot 'em ups (Not Quake or Doom) You should also get WWF No Mercy, a class wrestling game which will no doubt be going cheap.

I kept my 64 because they only offered me like £15 trade-in and a few quid for the games, I still play it now and again too although I have but two games, goldeneye and fifa 99'

Happy gaming.

P.S. I got my 64 like 5 years ago 2nd hand for £30 - they havent dropped in price alot!

I bought an N64 with the intention of catching up on some classics but none appeal like they used too. I Have Zelda:Ocarina Of Time, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64 and Mario. Good but dated. Best sticking with the gamecube ;-)

Sometimes I want to screw my nintendo 64. I just received it last month and I'm buying games from ebay like its going out of style, but I can't help it its all I have to do, I*'ve yet to play majoras masdk. I don't even have an x pansion pak yet, but can't wait. my cat just clawed the heck out of my left bicep twice. So I am injured for life. Anyway to follow love which is what I do try Jet Force Gemini and have fun if you need any help with it go to www.gamefaqs.com they should give you everything!

Good one, you're only 7 years to late! :D

Great buy, great console (to be honest I prefer my N64 to GC) - many great games to get, and they will probably be dirt cheap too.

Enjoy it!
