What do you think of it?

Granted.
It's the Hover Nozzle that is the criminal.

You seem to forget that most of the time you use fludd is to increase your jumping abilities, to jump further via floating or turbo nozzle or to jump higher. The new ability enables further jumping play, im am used to having the hover nozzle there to assist me in my jumping, the squirting if far less than you realize. Noki bay had you jumping all over the place, then you had the backflipping nut house in pianta village, and the jumping and climbing segments in pina park, not to mention the incredible action stages. Yes believe it or not the action stages incorperates FLUDD far more than you realize, it is a jumping section yet without FLUDD you panic and realize how essential he was to helping you jump.
Platformers are about jumping and climbing and Mario uses both perfectly if you believe it or not. He is still the true platformer as opposed to these multi-genred clones.
Apart from that nitpicking it's a great game, absaloutely love the re-hash on the old school tunes. Now I need to get down and play it, I've had about 20 stars for a week plus now.

Not at all, wall jumping required precision and the targets are far smaller aka the tightropes. FLUDD provided an addition to the entire jumping segments and yes he managed to save you falling too far for example but the game was still challenging without the pin point jumping sections that were still hard as FLUDD often took you further to further targets that you still had to judge accuratly to reach without falling.

I for one despise precision jumping in games.
But other people also make fair points as well
