Then, in Turkey, you can buy a 20 bedroom hotel for 300, 000, complete with swimming pool.

the renting market is dead. We have 2 houses in West london that are up for rental. for 4 weeks nobody had approached any of the 15 or so estate agents that we have got agency with. Now we have two afgahnis in one of the houses.. believe me desperation kicked in...
Our old house(a small cottage) sold for IR£350,000 two years ago.
At 19 years of age, that begs the question: Where the hell am I gonna get that kind of money?!

It is true
Don't come to East Kilbride though
No wonder houses are so cheap :|
I don't want to have to rent unless I really have to.
Example of price rise:
My brother and sister in law bought a new two bedroom flat nearly 2 years ago for 70,000. This flat is 5 mins walk from our train station. We are about an hours train ride from London. Ideal commuter town.
The other month, a flat the same as his, in the same block, went for 105,000. 35,000 more, and is two years old.
Tidy profit.
Except when my brother goes to get a new place, that will have gone up as well, so he's not really going to win from it.
Want a cheap house? Live in Scotland. Or Wales. 's true.
If it were in London it would probably be worth hundreds of thousands
Don't know why, London is going to flood in so many years
People should be planning to move
