First of all, a little justification for putting this topic in the PS2 forum - If I put it elsewhere, its unlikely to get intelligent responses. Also, I`d probably forget I posted it. On top of that, the movie should be coming to DVD sometime, which makes it a future PS2 related product.

Anyway, to the point, this movie rocks! Completely! Its easily the best movie I`ve seen this year, and probably for a long time before as well. As a massive Star Wars fan, there`s usually nothing that comes close to The Empire Strikes Back in my view, but Blade 2 is right up there amongst my favourite movies now!

I`ve decided not to go and see it at the cinema again, though I was very tempted. Partly its the money thing - the cinema ain`t cheap - but also that it`ll make the DVD even better when its released. I`ll be keeping an eye on SR`s DVD release list, thats for sure.

Without giving any plot points away, I can tell you that it basically follows on from the original movie, with a few years passed in between. There is now a new threat... and the coolest man/vampire on the planet is there to stop them.

Apologies to those of you here that are under 18, obviously you won`t be going to see it ;-) but for the rest of you, I highly recommend it.

You're as well buying it. What's it gonna cost you to rent it? 2.50? You can get it for 8 quid on DVD.

And since you'll probably love it and want to see it again, you're better off buying.

Your choice though of course (but if you don't buy it I'll personally beat you to death with an iron bar). Still, your choice. :-D

What I mean is, there are some plot points that you need to know, but also a fair few that just complicate matters.

In some ways it helps to have seen the original, but at the same time, some parts are less confusing if you haven`t.

Blade 1 was good but Blade II is much much better..

at the start of B2 it tells you a little abt wot happened in Blade 1, but its good to see B1 to know whats goin on..

B2 is brill tho.
