I have ts2 but I dont feel it beats in any way shape or form the gameplay of Halo. Granted I will be slaving away over it for decades with the extra games but thats logivity and it doesn't have much interaction due to the poxy story.
Why such a hype then, everyone seems to love it.

Wouldn't know - I got bored of Halo before finishing it on Normal!

Of course the other options make up for it, but still, I think Halo has more thought to it with different tactics being used. Timesplitters 2 is fun in the way that its a nutty blaster with some great multiplayer options, etc.
The question now is - will it be a Halo 2 killer?
A second question would be - do we care? TS2 (on any platform) is already a Halo killer in my opinion - at least in terms of gameplay.
