I had the misforune to play halo yeaterday i have to say that is without a doubt the worse FPS i've ever ever played.

Though the graphics are good the controlls were fiddly, the eneimies could gun you down before you got near them. Your guns was poo.

I played for a good 10 mins to expeierenced the game and within ten minutes, i know whether a game is any good for not for me. This isn't.

*Me feel an arguement coming on*

Does it allow you to custom set the controls? I didn't get a chance to look into it when I was playing?

With regards to the PS2 control system, I changes all of mine to resemble Goldeneyes control set up,mainly changing the movements on each stick to something a bit more logical... ie: L3 - Straffe / Back, forward, R3 - Look up, down / Turn left, right on holding aim: L3 - Turn left right/Look up/down, R3 - Straffe LR/ Move Back, Forward... ore soemthing along those lines...

Well...

I wasn't impressed by Halo when I firt played it. As has been said, it's doesn't add much to the FPS genre, and certainly isn't up to the hype many reviewers have given it.

However, the more I've played it, the more involving it has become, and I have to admit, I love it. It offers nothing astoundingly new, but it is a top, top quality FPS.

As for the controls... I fail to see a problem. They are a little tricky to get used to, and as with all FPS games it would be better with a mouse/keyboard combination.

The default controls, though, are practically identical to the FPS games on the PS2 - both Red Faction and TimeSplitters use the sticks in exactly the same way. So basically if you hate Halo's controls, you hate those games on PS2 also.

And that deserved twice the mention...To be honest, DD64 was cheap at £5., whixh is why I bought it in the first place. But hey, what a bargain.

Hell, I almost forgot about that franchise. The last version of DD I bought was for the N64.

Glitchy graphics, but great gameplay.
