"Sr mag moan (again)"

I like getting the Sr mag through the post every month or so, but sometimes it's just a load of prices and nothing else. There should be a friendlier feel to the mag, to encourage people to come on the site and to join the company too.

OK, you might be thinking that we don't need any more newbies on this site, but the company relies on this kind of advertising and personal relationships (I'm not talking about what Snuggly and Goatboy get up to either) to sell more goods and be a service that people want to keep coming back to.

To do this, firstly this site needs a lot more advertisment. Keep the page at the back of the mag that used to appear each magazine, the one with the stats and the news about members here. If people see that it's a community then they will want to join. More pictures, more wild stories about the members, a bit like a newspaper front page. Hell, make it two pages, there's enough stuff goes on here. While you're at it, why not print a sample from a hot topic on these forums too.

Another thing you could do would be to have the staff in the mag more often, the pic of the lot of you in the racing gear was pretty good, so why not try something similar, or a staff corner of the mag, even if it's a comedy one.

The main section of the mag, with all the things you sell, is already a very well laid out section and doesn't really need changing, but I reckon that a few more personal touches would make all the difference to how many people you get on this site and how many sales you get as well...and I'm sure the pictures of us lot wouldn't drive them all away, honest!

I agree. I never read it anymore. More often than not it goes straight in the recycling thing. I take the plastic off first, though, and chuck the gay scratch photo thing in the bin.

In the main sections with all the prices they have some reviews down the side columns, maybe they could use some of the reviews written by users... and having little sections of some of the best topics from each month at the back would be good, as would taking extracts from the top posters of the last 30 days like they used to...

Yeah, I remember that pic when you was elected! Big fluffy cloud of sheep!

And then there was Your Honour, who was shown as a man with a big beard!

'tis a shame they don't do that anymore. I wish they still had the Club News bit at the back.

he thinks this place is a con and i have no idea of the payment methods anyway so i don't know what the magazine looks like anyway

There should be reviews and previews, a cheat section, and a feedback section, just like in a normal games mag.

I remember that little evaluation thing of one poster from SR you used to do in the E-mails.

Maybe you could do that in the little SR chatforums part you used to do at the back. What happened to that anyway.

So it's more work for you lot just to keep us happy, now go.
