Wait, this had something to do with economy? Economy is one of those subjects I just can't seem to grasp. I just don't get it whenever my brother trys to explain. I'm obviously wrong anyway.

The idea of the Euro was more about the value of economies rather than it being easier to change money.

Britain adopting the Euro would mean their economy was worth less simply because the pound is worth 1.48 Euros.
