Does anyone know how to download a game (PC) on Kazaa Media Desktop (peer to peer) and then burn it to cd-r and play it? Do I need to have all the files from the cd or will it work if I just download the file from kazaa and then burn it to a cd-r? Also, does anyone know of a good site (preferably ftp) where I can download some of the newer bootlegged rpg's?(role playing game) And one more thing: Is Halo on PC yet?

Thanks

I hate ham so it shows you how no matter what you do ham will be produced. As will pirate copies of games

People who copy games are destroying the industry. It's illegal, could put companies out of business, might mess up your PC and with the second rate graphics, speed and therefore gameplay after all your effort it's hardly worth it.

It's not big, and it's certainly not clever.

Well this is obviously one of two things:

1) A joke account
or
2) A plain old idiot

I dont feel like going in to detail because I have better things to do. So heres the facts, straight and simple.

If you download software that is not either freeware or shareware from Kazaa, or from anywhere else, then you are breaking the law unless you have a license to use it.
The person or people that uploaded the software may have the license. However they have one, and only one, license. That means that they cannot give out their product to anyone and keep it themselves.
If file sharing is so legal then why are Microsoft currently working on plans which have the potential to totally remove file sharing, as well as any other illegal activities?

One more thing:

"the US rules!"

Thats your opinion.
However the fact is that you dont rule, you suck.

It doesn't matter how much legal analysis you put on it, you're still depriving the devloper of funds they should receive for their work.

Granted they're not exactly hard up for a bit of cash, but still it makes you no better than a common thief. You may as well walk into a store, stick it under your jacket, and walk out. But of course, then you wouldn't have the 'safe' anonymity that the Intenret provides.

Again we come back to the irony of a trainee lawyer breaking the law - either the letter of it, or the spirit. Then again, knowing lawyers, maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

What on earth are you talking about? When did I say that I do any of the above? Am I missing something here or are you just as stupid as your posts suggest?

It's highly ironic that someone requesting assistance in obtaining and installing pirate software should consider going anywhere NEAR the IWP website and reporting others.

But then they do say that the Americans don't 'get' irony.
