"Reviews gotten shorter"

I went to write a review a few days ago and was typing away happily... until it said that I had run out of characters. After much head-scratching, I noticed that the character limit for reviews has dropped from 4000 to 3000.

3000?! Geez! Why did this happen? I'm assuming it's to do with the increased size of the website or something technical like that, but 4000 characters gave me the freedom to write reviews which - in my opinion - were good, as I could cover everything I wanted to. Now I find myself too restricted and unable to cover every aspect of the game.

We like short, informative reviews. We have them on the site so that people can read a few opinions on a product when deciding whether to buy. It's helpful to read a few good concise opinions rather than have to read through one epic essay. Longer is not necessarily better.

STOP CONFUSING ME DAMNIT! I wish you were allowed a maximum of say 8000 as a safeguard margin, so then I could write 4000-5000 character reviews. I don't feel comfortable writing 3000 character reviews, you can't put in enough detail, and I feel that I normally have to make the ending paragraph shorter.

SR mods - if you're out there, help us, and give us at least 4000 characters!!! I'll die without it. Well, perhaps not die, but...

3000 Jeebus? I have trouble getting my reviews down to 4000 sometimes, gonna have to change the whole format now.
