Hmm, not sure about that, Silent85 said he pays about £15 for a years subscription to IGN, that works out at £1.25 per month, average price of a magazine, umm, say £3? Think IGN wins hands down actually!

Yes, get on with it.....why in gods name did you even have to ask?
:D

Apparently not! ;-)

The last time I looked on IGN, you could look at up to 5 pieces of media (movies/screenshots) before you had to pay to see more. Reviews were freely available, though.
Even Gamespot's gone the same way.
The net might be first with reviews etc., but at this rate, it's cheaper to subscribe to the mags.
Hehe...glad to see I'm not the only one who's been playing on GTA3, I dug it out about a month ago, wiped my memory card of my old save and started all over again. Wanted to complete it 100% but I'm now stuck on going back and getting the packages on the 1st island. For some strange reason, the Mafia have taken a dislike to me :p
> What the bloody hell is wrong with IGN???
Nothing, the site works ok for those who subscribe :p
> You need to subscribe just to read a review?
Errm, didn't you know this? Think this was changed about a year ago, Silent85 is a member there, he'll hopefully copy and paste it here for us all to see!
*hopes*
> Screw them - I'll go somewhere else.
Hehe...funnily enough that's what I said when I saw the charges come up for the first time! :D
