And Sony also had some duff PS2's at launch, but at least that was just at launch and not a continuing run of issue's like with the XBox. Only Nintendo were able to launch a console without any problems at all - unless anyone knows different.

LOL!
My GC hasn't screwed up in ANY way whatsoever. So I'm, happy.
The PS2 is the most bug-ridden console ever. It takes about 5 minutes for mine to recognise a disc now, and it crashes halfway through playing games. The GC is better, although there is nothing wrong with the Xbox whatsoever. You don't talk from personal experience at all - you talk from internet rumours and 'facts' you've just made up. The Xbox is the best console of the lot. It's a stable PC in a box, as you pointed out. The scratched discs thing at the Jap launch is no worse than at the Jap PS2 launch. What's more, Sony stuffed the UK launch with that pre-order crap and backwards compatibility gone wrongs. No no, the PS2 isn't the best of the lot, it's the worst.

I don't Care, I don't Care, I don't Care, I don't Care and in case you missed it I DON'T CARE.
It's just another topic damning another system you don't own, it says the same contrived tosh as in all of you're other "another reason why the X-Box sucks and the PS2 is the greatest" threads.
Had it since about 3 days after launch, been played a lot. Moved around the country a bit as well.
Oh, and the problem with TimeSplitters 2 is a bug in the game, no fault of Microsofts.

Were they by any chance in pods? Turned on all day? Little or no ventilation? Turned at a weird angle? Constantly being played on?
Thought so.
My Xbox has never crashed - My PS2 has.

According to a report that NGC did, it's been happening with Super Monkey Ball, too. SEGA, you cheeky scamps!

Don't see many frozen PS2's or GC's. What about the dirty disc error? I haven't seen that on any PS2 or GC. That said, yes all consoles crash, but I am simply trying to point out that the XBox does it more. This is not in anyway to belittle is performance edge or anything else (leave that for another topic). But simply that XBox is still less stable than the other 2, and that I thought this might be the case when MS first announced their XBox.
