People won't get ripped off by Nintendo again.

the thing is nintendo have so many quality games coming out over next few months. Mario Sunshine doubled GC sales in some places. So imagine what will happen with starfox, zelda, metroid etc. Also the possibility of pokemon on the GC. That could most definatly sway things in nintendos favour.

Recent... but part of the article says "as we look towards 2002" after mentioning how 2001 went. Sounds like they`re using old news. Still, they are right though, and a lot of other financial advisors and analysts are agreeing. Trouble is, when this gets pointed out, it probably alters peoples decisions slightly.

Say 3/5 buy PS2 and 1/5 buy each of the other two consoles. (Not accurate, I`m just putting some numbers up). Then industry analysts all say the PS2 has won, and will sell even more. This could alter the balance to say 3/4 buyers going for PS2 and 1/8 for each of the other two.

So as the lead gets bigger, the analysts say "its getting bigger" and when the analysts say "its getting bigger" the lead increases even more in a little loop.
