Well if you not too bothered about it then you should get it. The Orange Memory card is a Limited edition, but you never know MS may include it in the Test Drive program seeing as thats starting soon.
XBconnect only allows you to play against people with a PAL machine, XBox Live lets you play against everyone whether they have a PAL or NTSC machine.

XBconnect is rubbish compared to what XBox Live is. Halo 4 player can be slow. Been having 16 player Moto GP with voices as well as playing against the Americans. XBconnect uses the System Link function and there for needs alot more bandwidth. Halo uses 128K upload per person on XBconnect. In 1 hour of playing XBox Live i've used about 7.5Mb of upload when in that time I could have uploaded about 100Mb, so really XBox Live isnt even scratching the surface of whats possible. Think a 16 player game of Unreal Championship, with voices so that you can talk to your team mates or shout abuse at people :). XBox Live is going to be amazing :).
