The Freedom Force demo is out. Now we can all pretend to be superheroes and not get stared at!
Get it from www.fileplanet.com. Usually, I'm not a big fan of online RPG's, but this could be cool.
*Rotates head 180 Deg. and cooks shaneo still in his spam tin*
Apart from Qui-Gon, who nobody really cared about anyway.
"I'm wise, and I 'take affection with characters that are bound to annoy the audience'"
Glad he died. Who knows what he would have found in Episode 2.
And yeah, I feel the same way about online RPG's. Usually. I'd love to play them, but they're always, always too demanding. Never enough action, and FAR too much walking around.
*kill chicken to become warrior*
*sell chicken to buy weapons*
*repeat times infinity because you'll never make enough money or get experienced enough to tackle the "scary ginger one at the back of the class", that always appears and kills everyone*
But this is different. I can be a superhero in full 3D, fly around, and do loads of stuff. If I get the time to do this properly, I might even buy it, and EVEN pay the fee to play.
Either this or Star Wars: Galaxies, which I'm sure even Ant's interested in. Well, maybe. It hasn't got any "I'M EVIL I DON'T TALK MUCH" characters in.
Saw the screenshots, looks fun and it has a diffrence.
Wow I suddenly have the urge to fly around New York as Batman or Superman or any other flying person
Is the demo playable online?
Must look...
I'd rather be subjected to a poisonous an-l injection.
Well, maybe not actually.
(an-l is a swear word SR??? :D)
The demo includes: A character creator, and two missions.
I hope this character creator is the actual full one... "flying, superhuman strength, xray vision and invisabilty has been disabled... you can choose 'the truth telling lasso'".
Argh!
I had an idea for a chat room once, where you could give yourself a superhero name and superhero powers, and other people could be villains and start fires and rob banks around an imaginery city. Then you went in and rescued them and chatted and stuff.
