Nintendo confirmed a GBA and Gamecube successor is 'well underway'.

Nintendo never said anything about the name 'StarCube' - it was a rumour conjured up by the press. As for names, how about:-

Destiny - The slogan at the end of adverts could be "Nintendo... Choose. Your. Destiny.."

Generation?
Portal?
Gateway?
GameStar?

only two words
portable and advance
just for the GBA 2

I think the last one is too long...but the first could work.

GBU is short for: GameboyUltra

GBAE is short for: GameboyAdvanceExtra

Maybe it could of been to things:

1. was going to be the GC but they changed it so it was shown in pikmin as the spacerocket
or
2. it was alwasy going to be the spacerocket in pikmin but some one mistook info and thought it was the gc name.
