"Making Mini-Discs"

It is really boring, sure I'm glad I have such a lovely device and I have already been told off my father about in the 'old days' they put a microphone up to a speaker or something.

Anyway, I bought 10 new discs. I get to go on a thrilling week-end in Fife where it will rain and I will be forced to play that higher class assshole game of golf.

I can't be bothered making compilations so I have:

Beatles
Bowie
The Who
Supergrass
Super Furries
The Clash
Verve
Radiohead
Sigur Ros

That's about it.

I purposely redid all my MP3s in a lower format so they take up less room (some of them were 12mb, managed to get them down to 5 or so)

A really old volvo. The guy who had it before me fitted it. Its kinda cool in a retro way.. although I'm sick of hearing 'Pet Sounds' now..!

What car have you got then? bet it's something really old if you've got an 8 track in it, unlss your really attached to it. Do you own CDs? my uncle bought his first one the other day, hes quite happy with it (only bought it because his new car had a CD player)

Not up for this new fangled stuff - a nice analogue reproduction will do me fine.

What was the point of this thread? i've got a MiniDisc and other than being made by Sony it's ok, shame it's broken twice and still mumbles now and again.
You can fit 2CDs on one disc, whats wrong with that? MD players are cheaper than MP3 players...loads of reasons why they're better. Have a nice time in Fife :p
