Nov 5th - the discovery of the plot by Guy Fawkes et al to blow up Parliment.

Not Nov the 2nd because it's a Saturday, no.
November the 5th.
Is it that hard to come to grips with? We dont bring Xmas forward 3 days early so it falls on the weekend do we? No.
But "Oh it's the weekend so we'll have the parties early", thereby missing the ENTIRE GODDAMN POINT.

If we're going to turn the discovery of a plot to blow up the goverment by use of explosives (terrorism some call that kind of behaviour), then GET THE DAY CORRECT.

It's in November, and I cant remember the last time we had a Nov 5th that didn't rain. And the result of the rain? You come home early anyway.
No, honestly. You'll watch the sodden fireworks tonight and be back home by 10pm "It's cold and I'm wet" you'll say and settle in front of the tv where it's warm.

Tonight is of no particular significance so why bloody celebrate an attempted terrorist action by having it 3 days early?

Still, on a bright note at least it means wrong-faced kids will throw bangers at each other (he says as more explode outside), and they do run the risk of blowing a finger or nose off.

We live in hope.

Didn't mean that I think anyone who burns a flag is an extemist, it's just thats how the media usually portray them. If people want to burn flags they can.

It may be a few days early, buts its nice to see. Especially if there are some decent ones going off.

On another note, the gippos wont blow their fingers off, bangers are banned.

I think you'd do better to burn a fifty, they are bigger, so would last longer. Or you could make a pile of ten fivers.

I think you get a more colourful display setting light to a £20 note. Lasts longer, too.
